One scorching hot ex-boyfriend. Two ripped, gorgeous business partners.
Second chances were never meant to be this much fun…
“Or we can play it any way you want to,” Aiden laughed, reading my expression. “You call the shots.”
“Ohhh,” I grinned wickedly. “I like that.”
“So no dates then?” asked Marcello.
“Oh you can still take me out on three dates,” I smiled. “That part sounds fun. But trust me, I’m anything but overwhelmed.”
They looked even more attractive now, in the flickering darkness. The flames dancing off their mostly-naked bodies, bathing all those taut, quivering muscles in a warm, orange glow.
“In fact,” I went on, “I was thinking the best way to break the ice would be to go all in.”
More silence. More tension.
“All in?”
I took a long, deep breath. After this, there was no going back.
“All three of you,” I said firmly. “Together. No holding back.” Scanning their stunned expressions, I looked over at Aiden and winked. “No restraint.”
The palm trees rustled some more. It was Ryker who spoke first.
“Really?”
I shrugged innocently. “Wouldn’t that break the ice?”
Marcello chuckled deeply. Aiden swore in disbelief.
“The way I see it, it’s like ripping off a Band-Aid,” I told them. “You don’t half-ass it, you do it all at once.”
All at once. Sweet holy fuck.
“When we’re done, we’ll all be acquainted,” I reasoned. “No weirdness. No jealousy. No one getting left out.” I shrugged again. “All the cards will be on the table. Or the bed, so to speak.”
I felt suddenly alive. Totally in control! Plus it was kinda cute, the way they all stood there, open-mouthed and silent. Totally still.
“And then after that?” I said. “We date. I’m your girlfriend, each of you, all of you. You take me whenever and wherever you want me, and even better, I take you.” I paused to set my beer down, then placed my hands on my hips. “After all, you have to consider how much this whole thing appeals to me, too. I get three hot guys. Three very wonderful and amazing boyfriends, and I’m going to treat you all with the same companionship and intimacy of any traditional, one-on-one relationship.”
The wind picked up a bit, blowing a lock of hair over my eyes. I tucked it back behind my ear and arched an eyebrow.
“Deal?”
All three men answered together, each of them with a nod. “Deal.”
“Alright then,” I smirked, trying my best to look confident. Beneath that mask, my heart felt like it was jackhammering its way out of my chest. “Now… just one thing left to do.”
The coin had been in my palm the whole time. I peeled it away and held it between two fingers.
“Heads or tails?”
I’d turned my back on Aiden, so that I was mostly facing the other two. The guys shifted a little closer, to get a look at what I was doing.
“Wait,” Ryker squinted. “What exactly are we flipping for?”
“Nevermind,” I chuckled. “I got this.”
In one deft movement I flipped the quarter into the night air and caught it with the same hand. Slapping it over my opposite wrist, the guys moved in for a peek.
“Looks like you get head,” I said to Marcello with a wink. His handsome smile widened.
“And you…” I said, turning my back to Ryker. I glanced back at him over my shoulder and wriggled my ass enticingly. “Looks like you finally get my tail.”
My ex’s best friend clapped his hands, then rubbed them together excitedly. He looked like a kid on Christmas.
“’Bout time.”
The fire was nice, but the warmth of our bungalow was growing more and more inviting. I reached for them, and both guys extended their arms.
Here we go…
Walking backward, I pulled them in the direction of our central villa. I squeezed their hands promisingly.
“And what do I get?” Aiden asked a bit glumly.
Nodding over my shoulder, I motioned my ex to follow. “You get to watch,” I laughed, blowing him a kiss.
“At first, anyway.”
